Car sharing is a new concept but is growing fast in urban Sydney with several operators offering services to link car owners with people needing to use a car for a period of time along with companies maintaining a fleet of cars parked around the city that members can access.
For example, GoGet, one of the larger operators, has vans located at every IKEA in Sydney, along with most Kennards Self Storage locations, several major shopping centres, and Homemaker centres.
