Earlier in her career, she worked with Next Media, where she developed a sharp editorial instinct and a passion for stories that matter to the local community. She later stepped away from the newsroom for an extended hiatus, embarking on a multi-year backpacking journey across four continents. Returning to Sydney, she is now starting family life with a side of writing.
